i have red itchy spots randomly all over my legs, stomach & chest. they itch horribly. i do have lyme disease could it be related or other causes?!

Not sure of the: context. Lyme disease is an infection. It can have a rash and would need treatment. Mostly people mean "I think I might have had lyme disease sometime in the past". And the organism would certainly be entirely gone with treatment. While one can have an injury from it, it is less likely to have rash from treated lyme than treated gunshot wound.
THen, inflammations, infections, circulatory issues ..

Lyme disease: The classic "bull's eye" rash of Lyme disease is present in some form in around 80% of cases. Consider following up with your provider to possibly check a blood test for Lyme disease and to keep looking into other causes for your chest pain and insomnia.

i recently got diagnosed with late lyme disease. could my shortness of breath, lightheadedness, chest pain, and rapid heart beat be related to this?

Yes: Yes. Lyme disease is called a "great imitater" meaning it can theoretically cause anything.  Hope you get well.

We Don't Know: While we have made strides on the treatment end, we still struggle to understand the "why". What we do know is that 85-90% of cases occur in people with no known hereditary risk factors. We also see links with high (unopposed) estrogen states (early menarche, late menopause, no children or late-in-life, obesity).

i rode a horse without a bra which caused a lot of painful and extreme bouncing around for my breasts. lasted for 30 mins in all with about 30 secs for the most extreme impact. some redness. can i get breast cancer or other diseases from this?

No worries: Here in California, the law requires Cancer Warning signs everywhere, because everything we eat, touch, breathe can cause cancer. That's a reality of life.  Everything on Earth can cause cancer, but the true question is, how likely is it to happen? Haven't heard of horse-riding causing cancer, with or without bras. That said, wearing safety equipment is a good idea anyway. No worries!

No: There is no evidence of the type of clothing, type of bra, underwire or not, bra or not, that there is any relationship to breast cancer.

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily: Breast cancer that is small and has not spread from the breast is considered a localized disease, making it easier to treat and less chance of recurrence.  Cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes indicates that it may have spread to other sites and may be a systemic condition, making it harder to treat.

Perhaps, but...: ...It also raises awareness about the disease, provides an opportunity for friends & family to support survivors, raises money to help others, and allows people to memorialize those that may have succumbed to this cancer. I have seen a lot of good that has come from these events but its clearly not for everyone.

Higher than normal.: I suggest 2 things: brca1 & brca2 genetic testing and see your doctor.

benign breast disease and the risk of breast cancer?

Accepted Answer

Depends: Most benign breast findings do not lead to or cause breast cancer. Some breast tissue biopsies can show benign but possibly pre-cancerous cells, such as atypical ductal hyperplasia or lobular neoplasia (for example). You would need to discuss any breast biopsy results and their possible risks with your doctor.
