Symptoms of these diseases can affect many different body systems, including joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, heart, and lungs.

Butterfly: Classic rash of lupus is on the face, over the nose and under the eyes. It appears as a red butterfly. Other problems can mimic the rash and lupus can be present without the rash.

Unlikely: Very rare .I have not seen in 35 years of practice .I used a lot on Inderal (propranolol) in my prectice.

May be confusion?: Lupus can affect the respiratory system in a variety of ways, but I am not clear what is meant by this phrase "lupus emphysema" and suspect that there may be a misunderstanding here. Lupus can be associated with inflammatory reactions of the lung tissue or lining of the lung, lung scarring ("fibrosis"), or diaphragm. A consultation with a pulmonologist (lung specialist) may be needed to clarify.

See eye doctor: Make sure that you don't have retinal detachment . If this is persistent, see your eye doctor- especially if you are very near-sighted.

Yes: Sjogren's can have flares just like sle and there is frequently overlap between the two. Neither is desirable when organ involvement occurs since these are very difficult to treat or reverse.

Likely Lymphoma: It is less likely that lupus gives pts enlarged lymph nodes. One or two lymph nodes  or multiple is common in lymphomas (hodgkin may give less number and larger nodes?).

i have lupus and i've bewn diagnosed for almost 2 years a i don't feel like im getting any better and im not comfortable with my doctor what should i do?

Trust your gut: Try another doctor for second opinion if you don't like your current one. You can always go back. Try a rheumatologist-they would specialize in lupus.

Yes: A positive double stranded is fairly specific for lupus but can occasionally seen in other diseases.
