Reword this question: "Some kind of lung infection" means nothing. Cough? Fever? What is the DR's diagnosis? Any other meds? Ache in chest due to cough? How long ill? Effective therapy of bronchitis is time + inhalers. Antibiotic therapy is not effective for viral infections. High: Most patients with organ transplant will experience candida (mainly oral thrush/candidiasis) at some point after transplant.  The incidence of thrush seems highest if you have had a lung or heart transplant but all organ transplant recipients are at risk.  For the most part the infection is treated with either topical oral rinses but occassionally oral medications are required to eradicate it.

Cystic fibrosis: Nasal polyps or sinus surgery can lead to anoia. This may not return. You should be checked for cystic fibrosis sarcoidosis or wegeners.

Could be the same : Did you have the strep documented? Or did you just have a sore throat and refer to it as "strep"? Viral infections in the head and throat frequently can lead to bacterial super-infections in the throat, nose, sinuses and lungs. What is used to treat the strep may not be the right antibiotic for the lungs. You should talk about thins with your doctor.

Probably not: True lung infections caused by candida are almost unheard of.  People with severely suppressed bone marrow function can get systemic candida infections, but most such people are hospitalized in bone marrow or other organ transplant units or similarly immunosuppressed (but rarely cancer patients receiving outpatient chemo for example).  "candida pneumonia" is almost unheard of.

No: Although candida can be found in the sputum it can be considered a contaminant except in certain situations such as immunosuppresion (cancer, HIV etc) 
if a person with tuberculosis has a candida infection the above must be ruled out particularly hiv. Otherwise the answer is no.
