Could be the same : Did you have the strep documented? Or did you just have a sore throat and refer to it as "strep"? Viral infections in the head and throat frequently can lead to bacterial super-infections in the throat, nose, sinuses and lungs. What is used to treat the strep may not be the right antibiotic for the lungs. You should talk about thins with your doctor.
