A member asked:

I received a organ transplant, what is the likelihood of me getting a lung infection caused by candida?

High: Most patients with organ transplant will experience candida (mainly oral thrush/candidiasis) at some point after transplant. The incidence of thrush seems highest if you have had a lung or heart transplant but all organ transplant recipients are at risk. For the most part the infection is treated with either topical oral rinses but occassionally oral medications are required to eradicate it.

Not likely: Possible, but not likely. Anyone taking immunosuppressive drugs is at greater risk for (opportunistic) infections compared to individuals in the general population. A very few % of organ transplant patients get fungal infections, and unless you have had fungal pneumonias in the past, it would be an unusual event.
