Stage ii cancers can present with identical symptoms as stage i or stage iii or IV cancers.

Cough: There are a lot of things that can give you persistent cough. Although, cough is a very common symptom of lung cancer-however, it is less likely/ unlikely to be the case here- based on your age. More likely causes will include asthma, acid reflux/ post nasal drip due to sinus problem/deviated septum, infection/inflammation  etc. Go to see your md and have yourself checked.

Not necessarily: An infiltrate seen on a cxr or ct scan can be cancer or infection (pneumonia) or inflammation. It is by no means definitive for cancer. If it looks suspecious enough on the scan, the next steps are further imaging or direct biopsy of the abnormality.

Clubbing digits: Clubbing can be acquired or inherited. Clubbing that is acquired is usually due to lung or heart disease but may be secondary to gastrointestinal disease. It is not specific for lung cancer but can be present in patients with lung cancer. Clubbing refers to an increase in tissue of the pads of the fingertips and loss of the normal angle the nail base makes with the finger. It can be seen on exam.
