No specific signs: The staging of lung cancer involves noninvasive imaging tests such as ct scans and pet/ct scans and invasive tests that biopsy areas suspected to have cancer. Stage ii lung cancers are cancers that have spread beyond the initial site of their origin or have grown large enough to invade adjacent structures. Stage ii cancers can present with identical symptoms as stage i or stage iii or IV cancers.

Few: Stage 2 lung cancer is still early stage. Most early stage lung cancers are found by accident, looking for something else. Most late stage lung cancers are found due to symptoms, like chest pain, coughing up blood, weight loss, etc. One of the earliest signs would be cough, due to airway irritation.
