Probably benign: They are very common, and usually benign, but if they are bigger than one centimeter, or if there are certain radiographic features, then a fine needle aspiration is recomended.

Thyroid nodules: No, most thyroid nodules are not cancerous. A thyroid ultrasound is very sensitive at picking up tiny and often insignificant nodules. There are some features of thyroid nodules that make them more suspicious, such as large solitary "cold" ones,  and other features.   The best person to evaluate is an Endocrinologist who does his/her own U/S guided biopsies.

i have a lump on my thyroid and it contains electrolytes what does that mean? i had hemithyroidectomy last year, due to lumps on it.

Follow up : Please see your doctor and you need follow up exam and testing.  The lump could be benign or malignant which needs expert examination.

i have lumps behind both lids above my eyeballs; i have thyroid disease, but am on meds & use a cpap, but use a mask. it's not painful, just annoying.

Evaluation Needed: I am not sure the CPAP and lumps behind eye lids are related but you may need to go to the doctors to examine and diagnose the lumps behind the eye lids. It could be a normal anatomical feature for you or it could be ingrown hair or other pathology's.

Lump: The nodule likely needs biopsy. You should be working with an endocrinologist.

i have two bone hard lumps on either side of my trachea below the hyoid. higher than thyroid. dr thinks spinal bones/spurs. could it be so anterior?

Not spine related : You are probably feeling the lateral aspect of the thyroid cartilage. It goes higher as it goes out to the side.

i had stabbing pain thyroid area for 5 min a week ago. now it only hurts when swallowing big bites of food. recently upped thyroid med from 90mg to 120mg. i dont see or feel any lumps, no fever. dr appt in a week. what could cause this? thank you.

Thyroiditis : An enlarged thyroid can cause discomfort on swallowing. The pain of thyroid inflammation usually lasts a lot longer than 5 minutes. Your symptom doesn't appear to be serious at this time.  If throat pain on swallowing persists, have an Otolaryngologist examine and advise you if you prefer not to wait a week to see your MD.

Normal: It is normal to be able to feel small lymph nodes in the groin or other areas of the body.  No need to worry about them.  It would be exceedingly rare for them to be related to your history of thyroid cancer.

im hving a little disturbance in my neck below my adams for 4days now. i'm having a dry throat and i don't see any lumps or inflamm. is it my thyroid?

Possible: Thyroiditis (subacute) is a possibility, although there are a lot of other structures in your neck and it is possible that it is not thyroid at all.  Thyroiditis is often temporary and resolves.  See your doctor.

having the front and right side of thyroid removed due to lumps, i have pain shooting up the side of neck into ear, it's a sharp pain is it the lumps?

Thyroid lumps: Usually lumps in the thyroid do not cause pain, but they can be associated with pain, if the thyroid gland is inflamed. It is common for an inflamed thyroid gland to be associated with ear pain. If you are having the lumps removed, hopefully, the biopsy will tell you if the gland is inflamed.
