i have read about vericocele. i have discovered small lump vein, just before entering the vein in scrotam. is this vericocele?

Accepted Answer

No it is not: Why are you concerned about having a varicocele? If you had one, it will not show on the skin of your scrotum. It is supposed to be located in the deeper structures. Unless you have a medical problem or symptom that concerns you, you should not be thinking about Varicocele. If you wanted to pursue it further, you will need to get  a physical exam/check up from a Urologist.

Ganglion?: The most common hard lumps found in the hand are not clots but rather ganglion cysts which originate from joints especially around the junction of the wrist and hand.  These cysts have a jel like substance and frequently require surgery for removal.  Clots in the hand  veins are usually the result of trauma.  You may want to see a hand surgeon or vein specialist.

raised bump/lump in vein on breast. very visible and feels like a knot. looks blueish in color, same as vein color. feels hard. no pain. dangerous?

Breast vein: This may be a bulging vein or have a small clot in the vein. A physician would have to inspect it in order to advise you.

More context: dermatologic conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them; generally the context matters a great deal. Recent trauma including intravenous injection illegal or otherwise changes possibilities drastically. Ganglion cyst comes to mind otherwise (a cyst in the covering of a nerve like a blister from wear and tear) associated with nerve irritaiton.

Get it checked: May be thrombo-phlebitis of superficial vein, but should get it checked.

Epididymal cyst: What you describe is likely an epididymal cyst.  These are benign and do not need treatment.  Just to be safe, you should let your physician check it though.

whenever i straighten my arm i feel a lump in the vein where my arm folds. its a hard lump that hurts. its the same vein they used to hook me to an iv for 3 days almost a month ago. is this a clot? should i be concerned? it just started today?

: This could be a firm clot of blood from trauma during vein puncture from the IV needle.. It's most likely not going to dissolve at this point. A vascular surgeon can examine and advise you best.

Valve??: Veins have small valves in them, which some people can fell (palpate).  If painless, non-inflamed and not changing, it is likely of little significance.

i have a small pea sized, greenish blue (sumthin like vein) lump on my chin from few mnths. it cums n goes. pains if pressed slightly?

Excisonal biopsy: From the description it seems to be at least 6 mm. In diameter. That fact together with a changing pigmentation in the skin suggests the need for a biopsy. I would likely move to do a biopsy which incorporate a complete excision of the mass, and to do so in a manner that camouflaged the incisional scar within a relaxed skin tension line along the chin itself for best healing.

i have a small hard lump in a vein on the inside of my arm by my elbow. it radiates pain and stings when i touch or squeeze it. what is it?

Thrombosed vein: It could be a thrombosed or clotted vein. These are common. It will probably go away. If  it really bugs you, it can be excised.
