my 17 yr/o teen felt a lump on her pelvis area, down the middle of the flat bone just before clitoris hood. it is under/in the skin, about 0.8cm across, is smooth movable and painless and not causing other problems. appeared 3 weeks ago and growing?

Many things: The symptoms you describe could be anything from a clogged pore to an ingrown hair or enlarged lymph node.  See your family doctor to make sure it is nothing serious!

Location: If this corresponds to the fold of the groin it is likely a lymph note. These are small structures that sift through body serum & clean out debris before the serum is returned to the circulation. There are many located throughout the body & those in the fold of the groin will often be noticed as pea to peanut sized, rubbery bumps that seem attached.They are a normal finding.

deep lipoma on low r side of back/pelvis area.  grown in size about an avocado seed but wider more pain stemming from lump to right buttock down leg. ?

May not be related: Lipomas on the lower back and upper hip are common.  If the size flutuates often and/or is tender to the touch you may want to see your md to get an ultrasound.  Pain in the buttock down the leg is usually from an irritated nerve in the low back.  These nerves are deeper than typical lipomas.

Hard to say: it may be nothing of consequence, but to be sure you should visit your doctor. It's one of those vague things that's hard to tell without an exam. If it's causing pain, it's always better to get in and be seen.

Possible lymph node: If you are referring to your genital area near the groin, this could be a swollen lymph node. Lymph nodes serve as "filters" for your immune system and may become inflammed when ever there is an infection or irritation in a nearby area. In general, the lymph system drains down and towards the center of the body. So anything like "jock itch", etc, could cause a painful swelling.

See a gynecologist: Small pea sized lumps are most likely fatty tissue which is benign or lymph nodes. Only a good physical examination and or us study would be most helpful.
