Hurting for days?: Doesn't sound normal. You should get examined. You may have a hernia or the lump may be unrelated to your recent excercise.  Better safe than sorry.

See a Dr.: Mumps causes painful swelling of the salivary glands and testicles. One or both may be involved, but the swelling resolves in both areas after 10-14 days. If one testicle is large and firm a year later, there may be a different problem. See a Dr (urologist) for a thorough exam and to determine the cause and treatment. Causes may include infections, hernias, tumors or varicocele/hydrocele.

Get  ultrasound: of testicles and scrotum. You may have developed an epididymal cyst; however, you must be checked for testicular cancer. Make an appointment asap to see your PCP or see a urologist.

my right testicle hurts. this pain really started bc i kept constantly checking my balls for a lump bc of anxiety. i kept touching the little ball that's on the testicles thats supposed to be there and now the ball hurts. should i go get checked out?

: You've checked enough' You have probably irritated the area called epididymis. Stop feeling it. Take Ibuprofen for a few days and wear a good scrotal support. Tests self exam should not be done sooner then at least one month apart, and the very gently. You will be fine
