See your doctor: You could have enlarged lymph nodes - since they are painful, that would suggest an infection of some sort.

Another possibility would be an obstructed salivary gland.

A complete history and physical is the right place to start.

Lump: If the lump is under the skin it may be a lymph gland reacting to an inflammatory process in the mouth. An enlarged salivary gland ,secondary to a blocked duct, is usually larger than peasized. A physician can advise you better after examining you.

Displaced disc: The loud pop was your disc jumping back but it could have slid laterally to the outside and that is the lump you feel.  Your teeth probably don't close like they did before pop.  Call your dentist immediately so he can diagnosis and treat your problem and give you relief

: The armpit discomfort and neck lump and tenderness are most likely not interrelated. You have to start with an examination of your armpit and neck by a physician. You may then be referred to an otolaryngologist depending upon the physician's assessment and findings.
