Get  ultrasound: of testicles and scrotum. You may have developed an epididymal cyst; however, you must be checked for testicular cancer. Make an appointment asap to see your PCP or see a urologist.

To completely r/o: it makes sense as to completely rule out other possibilities even though no mass/swelling is noted.  especially if the pain does not go away after a week or so, also it depends on your other history, age, examination etc. discuss with your doctor.

Get checked: Infection such as epididymitis, trauma, torsion, and ureteral stones passing can account for pain with little swelling.  A real rather than an internet examination is advised.

Get evaluated: It sounds like you may have an infection in one of your testis. You will need to have that evaluated &amp; treated. The sooner you get in &amp; treated the better. They can also make sure this is not something worse.

have yourself examined.
You may need a urine test and scrotal ultrasound.

Depends: If you had any type of trauma to the region, you should go immediately. If no trauma you could have an infection. Pain in that region usually warrants a trip to the ER especially if it is continuous.
