Lipoma?: A movable subcutaneous mass in region of latissimus dorsi and that is not inflamed or painful is most likely a benign lipoma.  Absent other symptoms, a cancerous growth is most unlikely.  That said, a doctor needs to actually feel the mass to give the best differential diagnosis.

i have lumps all over my body and some are painful to the touch especially an area on my lower back right on top of my kidney.  what could this be?

Subcutaneous Bumps: Without seeing the lesions it is very difficult to make a diagnosis. The lesions could be epidermoid cysts, lipomas which are fatty rumors, cystic acne lesions or even minor infections.

i have had these lumps one on each side of my body under the ribs for about 6 years. i had an ultrasound done when i firat found them and never heard back. wonder what they are. no pain or nothing?

Not dangerous: If you have had them for 6 years and they have not changed, i would not worry too much about them. I would however follow up with the ordering physician about the ultrasound results.

Usually movable lump: Is good, meaning benign if lipoma or sebaceous cyst. However, if it's painful, it needs attention by a physician to examine, and assess treatment options. Depending on what the diagnosis is, will determine the course of treatment. You can have direct and referred pain pattern from that bump, b/c it occupies space, and the back/ms/skin is a tight region.  Call your doctor.

Retraction: If the testicle is in its normal place within the scrotum and is not swollen or tender, you should be ok. However if it continues to retract and/ or if there's persistent discomfort, consult a urologist.

Biochemical relapse: When only the PSA becomes elevated again without evidence by exam or scans that the cancer is back, doctors call this a biochemical recurrence. This generally means the scans used to detect cancer are still not sensitive enough to detect very small or microscopic prostate cancer cells that a lot of times are already in the bones but sometimes may still be in the previous prostate bed or nodes.

im a 23 year old female, 11 weeks ago gave birth to a large baby, have noticed a firm lump on the left side of abdomen, i put it down to my body changing and getting back to normal state but it hasn't gone, causing no pain?

11 wks post delivery: If you had a C-section, the "lump" is probably a hematoma, or stitch abscess.  If you had a normal delivery, this mass could be a hernia or a torn abdominal muscle.  See your OB physician for an exam. All of the above are easily treated.

Not likely: Not likely. I recommend seeing your doctor. Sounds like a rash. Cancer of the skin tends to be just in 1 place.
