: It could be scar tissue, organized hematoma (collection of blood) etc. If it persists getting a mammogram might help- also another exam and treatment depending on the findings

Unlikely: Anything is possible, but this is most likely not cancerous.  Follow up with your doctor.  You may need another scan and a biopsy.

No: Whether fluid-filled or solid, it is often very difficult to tell if a lump is a tumor or a cyst by examination alone.  In contrast, an ultrasound will readily distinguish between the two.

No different: It is impossible to differentiate a solid lump from a cyst by exam alone.  However, it is easy to differentiate them by ultrasound or needle-aspiration.  Never assume a new lump is "just another cyst"--see your doctor for any new breat lump.

Less/more specific: A lump can be anything - solid or fluid filled, scar tissue, just a prominent area. It is a very non-specific term. A cyst means a fluid filled structure.

Depends: If it is a cyst, which is fluid-filled, usually nothing.  If it is causing pain, then an aspiration can be performed.

If it is a solid mass, it is most likely a fibroadenoma (I have several posts on this topic).  Unless it is large, we don't do anything with them.  If it is a large fibroadenoma, then it is usually removed surgically.
