Seems OK.: As long as you feel fine or are getting better these lab tests don't indicate much. Depending upon where you grew up and live in India these symptoms could represent serious disease, but the labs don't show anything specific. The way you feel should guide whether you need further testing.

How do you FEEL?: If the white cell values are not extremely out of range, and all are well formed, I would not worry about them. Iron is more worrisome as even without anemia, low values can war of poor nutrition or bleeding from an uncertain or tumor. Nobody here can really tell you much more than that we are glad you are amtaking an active role in understanding your health.

You're fine: Normal WBC. I trust lymphocyte and neutrophil counts were fine also. Take the prenisone for the poison ivy only if it's so bad you can't sleep otherwise. We're glad to help.

1.01/1.2: That is a bit on the low side but not too much. Please have your doctor repeat the test. A nuisance I know, but  you must get more information from your doctor.

Yes: You need to see an immunologist asap. You need a specialist to evaluate your immune system because something could be wrong. But, i say "could" because 3.4 might be normal for your body. But better to be safe than sorry. See an immunologist.

: Normal red cell &amp; platelet counts are reassuring about no sign of bone marrow malignancy. Lymphocytic leukopenia is seen with viral infections. If a repeat wbc&amp; differential cell count in a week or two still shows low wbc &amp; low lymphocyte count, consult a hematologist for advice &amp; any further testing deemed appropriate.

Serious: Don't try to second-guess what is happening. This could be many different things, but all are worrisome and beed to be addressed by a competent physician. I am glad he has a wife who can help at this difficult time.

: It could. Low white blood cell count is a form of diminished ability to respond to infection. If the elevated cholesterol is causing heart disease that would also increase the risk.
