How high?: At your age, iron deficiency is the likely cause for the low iron count. Since anemia is likely the last stage of iron deficiency, if you are not anemic now, you will soon be and iron supplement is needed . As for the IgE, it depends on how high it is and what symptoms you have. Be sure to get the anemia corrected before you get pregnant. Talk to OB if you have excessive menstrual flow.

For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your results are not a cause for concern. If you are worried about hemochromatosis, you may get a genetic test for the disorder.

i would like an explanation as to why my ferritin and transferrin saturationlevels are usually low, yet my cbc is normal. which i dont understand. as my cbc count counteracts the anemia 
i do have heavy periods. could that be the reason?

: Low iron storage reflected by low ferritin level.  Your hemoglobin/hematocrit remains in normal range so far but are likely to drop if you don’t take iron supplement.
