Not clear: Not sure what you mean by mvp. But i suspect you mean your white blood cell count, in that case 7.0 is actually normal. Also 73% neutrophil and 20% lymphocyte is fine and dies not suggest a weak immune system.

Depends: A mild elevation in white blood cells, with and increase in neutrophils is typical of a bacterial infection, or could be due to medications that you are on (ie. Steroids).  If the white blood cell count is very high, you should speak with your primary care provider.

Plan for each: You have a variety of symptoms, some of which may be related ... others not.  I don't think there is one diagnosis that explains all of your symptoms.  You need to work closely with a doctor you have confidence in to diagnose and properly treat all of these.  Don't get discouraged .... wonder about smoking with the high neutrophils. How do you FEEL?: If the white cell values are not extremely out of range, and all are well formed, I would not worry about them. Iron is more worrisome as even without anemia, low values can war of poor nutrition or bleeding from an uncertain or tumor. Nobody here can really tell you much more than that we are glad you are amtaking an active role in understanding your health.

Infection.: Depends on relative proportions, but in general without symptoms this is sometimes a big nothing. Could potentially be an infection, but you would very likely be aware of it through some other means such as pain, etc.

How far off?: And how do you feel? Reference ranges are set so that several percent of healthy folks fall outside the reference range. Ignore percentages on lymphocytes and neutrophils and only note the absolute values, and then only if they are far, far from reference range or there are abnormal forms. I can do this to my lymphs and neuts by taking a cold swim. If your doctor isn't worried, don't be.

Big picture: If these are percentages, don't even pay attention. Don't worry about monocytes unless you are obviously seriously sick. If absolute lymphs are above 1000, or if total neutrophils below around 15000 without abnormal forms (many bands, toxic granulation) chances are it means nothing especially if you're not otherwise ill. Your physician knows how to interpret these.

Plz ask your doctor!: There are dozens of possible explanations for this. You obviously went to a provider and had a blood count done, because you have the results. You provider had an idea what might be going on; that's why he ordered it. So, your best move now is to speak to your provider; he or she will have a much better idea than any of us what these results might mean!
