Estradiol fluctuates: Hi!
estradiol fluctuates throughout the cycle.  It is typically quite low during the period and peaks at mid-cycle.  If you are having regular periods, your Estradiol levels are normal, by definition. If you are on any type of birth control your Estradiol level will be artificially low.  Many things can affect levels and they are different from day to day.

Elevated Cortisol: A cortisol of 40 is high and even though exogenous estrogen is known to slightly elevate serum cortisol levels, a value of 40 needs to be evaluated. Long term corrisol elevation is injurious to your health and may signify an underlying adrenal glandular condition, such as Cushing's syndrome. You should follow up with an endocrinologist soon.
