Estradiol fluctuates: Hi! estradiol fluctuates throughout the cycle. It is typically quite low during the period and peaks at mid-cycle. If you are having regular periods, your Estradiol levels are normal, by definition. If you are on any type of birth control your Estradiol level will be artificially low. Many things can affect levels and they are different from day to day. Good luck! dr brown.

Too low: Yes, twenty is quite low for a young woman. Furthermore, your Estradiol level should be well above 32 during most of your cycle. Since there could be many causes of this you would need to be evaluated by an endocrinologist or gynecologist - sometimes both.
