Brain tumor: This question is extremely difficult to answer as we do not know the origin of the malignant tumor. Survival would vary greatly between a primary brain tumor and metastatic disease. Also the size and location of the tumor within the brain would make a difference. Generally speaking however i think most would agree that the prognosis would generally be less than a year and measured in months.

Lung ca survival: The length of time someone lives depends heavily on how advanced (what stage) a lung cancer is when found.   If it is stage 1 or 2, therapies may be very helpful in extending life.  If late-stage (3, 4) when found,  survival usually ranges from 6 mos to 2 yrs.  Very few people with stage 3, 4 disease live five years after diagnosis.  If found at stage 1, however, 1/2 of patients can be "cured".

COVID fears: Most type of prostate cancer are slow growing - but not all. Most hospitals have really got great infection control programs. I would encourage you father to discuss his fears about COVID with his physican or his staff.

 Glioblastoma, sometimes referred to as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), is considered a grade IV tumor. They are the most aggressive and are very infiltrative.
The standard treatment is surgery followed by radiation and chemotherapy. You should discuss life expectancy with your Dr.
