Brain tumor: This question is extremely difficult to answer as we do not know the origin of the malignant tumor. Survival would vary greatly between a primary brain tumor and metastatic disease. Also the size and location of the tumor within the brain would make a difference. Generally speaking however i think most would agree that the prognosis would generally be less than a year and measured in months.

That depends: On the primary tumor type, size, location and the size and extent of the metastases. Overall, not a very good prognosis without diagnosis and treatment, if available, of the primary tumor. It is also dependent on the age and health of the individual with the malignancy. Cannot begin to answer your question without most of that information. Best of luck.

Ask the doctor: Treating him (with the patient"s permission) for there best estimate. We cannot give you an estimate without more information and test results.
