Home remedies: You can gargle w aloe vera juice a couple of times per day. A mix of chamomile tea w honey ; a small amt of lemon juice helps. For significantly sore throat w swollen tonsils / lymph nodes – see physician ; get a strep throat test ; culture. Antibiotics are imperative for strep throat.

Raw vegetables: People vary widely in the foods they can tolerate, much less the ones that work best  for their own metabolism.  We don't know what your goals are, what your health is like, medications you might be on, etc.  For an individualized plan, you need your own doctor and nutritionist to work with. Fresh vegetables: I'm not sure I understand the question. Have you not ever eaten fresh vegetables in the past 28 years? Of course eating fresh vegetables is safe. That's what a salad is.

By and large: yes. Just make sure to wash them thoroughly, and pay attention to any use by or expiration dates on the packaging, if any are present. In general, raw vegetables preserve more of the intrinsic nutrients in the food when compared to canned or frozen vegetables. Hope this helps!

UBS: There is a high probability that you have irritable bowel syndrome. With ibs you get abdominal discomfort, diarrhea with increased fiber such as leafy vegetables and fruits. You cold also have crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. I would consult with a gastroenterologist and you may need an upper and lower endoscopy to get a definitive amnswer.

Salmon could be good: Uncooked salmon, if prepared well as in sushi, can be consumed. But would this speed up your healing process? Probably not. Eating a healthy, balanced diet, along with plenty of exercise to attain a healthy body/mind will help body recover from disease/surgery/trauma better. Your wound should be mostly healed now and a bit of remodeling continues to occur for maybe 6 months or more. Good luck.

Raw carrot craving: I've run across a few reports of craving raw carrots in pregnancy.  Also there was one report in british journal of addiction -- series of 3 patients who couldn't stop eating the carrots.  They described their addiction as similar to cigarettes.
