i have dep. &anxiety treated for 1year, the lats 2weeks i have been feeling my face left side tingling and lips. is that normal? i take lexapro (escitalopram) 20mg

Face tingling: The most common cause of tingling sensations in the face or other parts of the body is anxiety. If you have a history or depression and anxiety, then this is likely the cause. Lexapro (escitalopram) is in the family of anti-depressant medications known as ssris, which have been reported in some patients to cause tingling, shakiness, trembling, and/or sweats, but this is a much less common cause than anxiety.

So,there's something: Anxiety is not the cause of.  I was beginning to think one could blame the '08 financial crisis on it and Climate Change too! Actually, anxiety may have a role, but not in the way that means you should ignore it. It's possibly a type of hives and in the mouth area, you probably need to watch it for spreading or getting worse - if it even begins to, get to an ER. Take a benadryl (diphenhydramine) and pay attention.

Tingling top of head is not a common symptom of anxiety, but anxiety manifests itself in different ways for different people... So yes it is possible. Maybe!: Your symptoms could have been due to anxiety. But it is very important before ever accepting a mental health diagnosis, to be sure that you do not have a physical problem that may be causing your symptoms or making you anxious! So get an exam and appropriate testing by your doctor to be sure there is no physical problem that needs treatment or makes it harder for you to cope.
