LipSmacking=Behavior: All living creature behaviors=functions of the anatomic features exhibiting the behavior, yet only way complex/coordinated/changeable behaviors are achieved is by nervous system/brain control of the anatomy, by the mind within the brain driving the behavior. Does this mean conscious awareness? No! Why? Because most behaviors are run by non-conscious activity. Stroke? Yes. Retraining, Relearning.

Possibly: If the night terrors are not remembered, they could be related to seizure activity. Lip smaking is not uncommon during sleep but could be related to seizure activity as well. Usually during sleep seizure activity, there is movement and posturing of one side of the body.

Could mean-or ???: a lot of things....sometimes occurs just before, during, or after migraine headaches.  It could be the result of putting something directly on the lips that interacts and causes irritation.  It could be signaling the deficiency of certain vitamin supplements such as B12, folate, (folic acid) or B6 (pyridoxine).  You should get a metabolic evaluation.

Change in coloration: This is common with pregnancy, but may occur with age as well.  As long as its both sides and somewhat uniform, its probably fine.  However, you can get moles on the labia, so if its a spot that is darkening have your GYN look at it.
