Two of the three mechanisms for those strokes are related to a chronic vascular disease associated with hypertension. Other likely risk factors include diabetes mellitus and possibly smoking. Symptoms will depend on what was affected. See your Neurologist or PCP. Not a 'classic stroke'.

At her age (though artery disease is typically present in 1/2 US citizens by age 7 y/o by US autopsy data going back to the 1920s), trauma/(self or other induced abuse) to her head is overwhelmingly the likely basis. Look up brain/cerebral infarct on Google.com &amp; be aware that most result from artery Ds./clots, decades after onset, not trauma.

Likely incidental: It is difficult to answer without detailed history whether you ever had sudden paralysis, weakness or speech difficulty in the past. In view of your young age it may be only incidental radiological ct scan or MRI scan finding. Why was imaging done in the first place. Only your neurologist or ordering physician can explain better.

Hole in the brain: A lacunar infarct is a small dot where normal tissue may have been damaged leaving a small hole.  This can show as a dark dot on mri.  The cause should be explored.  Causes may include hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, clotting disorder, etc.  It may be an incidental finding of no definite cause.  Discuss these issues with your doctor.
