Depends: If you already had multiple ct scans in the past all showing these small sub-centimeter liver lesions and these were stable (have not increased in size) then follow up ct for crc (colorectal ca) can be done just in portal venous phase (routine contrast enhanced ct). If your oncologist or the radiologist are concerned about these lesions and want to r/o liver mets the best study is mri.

Q: can the left lobe of the liver cause pain on my luq?

Referred pain: Certainly, many types of pain can be "referred' which basically means that pain in one area may actually be originating from a different anatomical location. This is very common on the abdomen. 'With that being said, liver discomfort normally presents with symptoms in the right upper quadrant.

Q: what does 2 centimeter hypoechoic/cystic nodules with internal echogenicity in the midpole of the left lobe. larger module meaures 7mm?

It would be better: If you said where these findings were. It almost sounds like the thyroid. If so cysts in the thyroid may be colloid cysts and they look like cysts with internal echoes or old blood etc. therefore please specify where you have these findings

Q: considering left lobe hemagioma is big 11.6 by 17.9 by 15.7 cm should i also be able to feel my liver on right side due to effect of hemagioma mass .

Sometimes: The liver is a large organ and is divided into segments to allow for definition of the position of a lesion. On the right side even though a hemangioma is large , if the lelsion involves segment 5 and 6 one may be able to palpate the lower placed processes. If the hemangiomas are under the rib adjacent to diaphragm in segments 7 and 8 it is probably impossible to feel the existing lesions.

Q: can you live without the left lobe of liver?

Patial removal liver: As much as 80 percent of the liver may be removed. The surgeon leaves behind normal liver tissue. The remaining healthy tissue takes over the work of the liver. Please discuss this further with your surgeon. http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/wyntk/liver/page8.

Yes: Such a large hemangioma could cause the normal liver tissue to be pushed out below the ribs on the right so that you could feel the liver edge.

: Not feasible to interpret the films in absence of images.  Although could be arachnoid cyst, prior site of injury, etc  best to ask your doctors, who know you best.

Need more informatio: You need to provide us history and why was this test(?CT scan) done in the first place. If you have/had any symptoms, you need to let us know.
Low attenuation lesions are quite common in the Liver. Common causes include, benign cysts which can be confirmed with an Ultrasound of the abdomen. Patients with history of CANCER OR ABDIMINAL SYMPTOMS CAN HAVE METASTATIC CANCER IN THE LIVER.
