why does my larynx feel like its kind of hanging like my double chin? when i go to touch my double chin my larynx feels more forward. should i be worried ?

: It's difficult to imagine what you're describing about your larynx. Apparently you have no other symptoms such as pain,tenderness, cough,hoarseness  or wheeze. For peace of mind have an examination of your mouth,throat &amp; neck by your physician or an ENT specialist.

Neck lump: Lost of questions about painful lumps in the neck. Most likely, statistically, would be a lymph node(s). In youngsters this is most likely a virus infection such as infectious mono (epstein-barr virus). In older people one has to consider a lymphoma (form of cancer). With infections there is more likly to be pain and tenderness. Any lump that is growing needs ot be biopsied or removed.

Swelling and edema can occur when people have infection of these structures or one has a breathing tube put in their airway for breathing.  Scarring can occur that can block the airway if one is not careful.  Good luck.

LPR: Laryngopharyngeal reflux (lpr) is a form of gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disease) that causes collection of mucous in the back of the throat and frequent need to clear one's throat.  Seek an anti-reflux diet and try taking an acid-suppressive remedy.  If symptoms persist see your doc.  Good luck!

Hoarseness +: If the cancer affects the vocal cords, change in voice quality may be an early symptoms.  Cancer in other parts of the larynx may not produce symptoms in early stages and may become obvious only once it has spread to the local lymph nodes.  Other symptoms may include pain the throat, difficulty in swallowing, cough, sensation of choking etc.

could floppy larynx in babies cause female adam's apples?

Doubtful: I have never heard of that. A floppy larynx is because the cartilage is still soft and it hardens with time- appropriately. I have never heard of any correlation to female adams apple.
