A member asked:

I get excessive sticky white mucus build up in the larynx area, what condition(s) could this be ?

LPR: Laryngopharyngeal reflux (lpr) is a form of gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disease) that causes collection of mucous in the back of the throat and frequent need to clear one's throat. Seek an anti-reflux diet and try taking an acid-suppressive remedy. If symptoms persist see your doc. Good luck!
