i have a large cavity in my wisdom tooth on the upper right side.  i would like to get braces.  what happens if i do not remove the wisdom tooth?

The bacteria from a diseased tooth can travel in your entire body, including your heart & brain. 2. wisdom tooth: my dentist suggested me to remove all of my wisdom tooth. one of them has a large cavity (bottom left) and the other is growing inwards. the one with cavity pains but the other is alright. is it necessary to get all four removed?

Unknown: So many variables in your post. The one that is erupting lingually, is that the lower right? You may be impacting bacteria and food around it, affecting the second molar. Once the lowers are removed, the maxillary third molars are useless since there are no antagonists. Your dentist knows your mouth better than anyone on the internet. If you value his/her opinion, then extract them.

Wisdom tooth pain: Extraction is the answer to your infection and pain problem.  The antibiotic is a very temporary treatment.  Schedule the extraction ASAP.

Severe pain: Your severe pain is an indication of an infection.  Don't wait. Call your dentist and move up your appointment.  Since you have a large cavity your tooth will be evaluated as to what the best treatment would be, possible root canal or extraction. Get this treated asap.

Absolutely: That rotten tooth will at some point abscess, which can cause the infection to drain under your tongue and potentially close off your airway. Insurance or not, you need to take care of your health. Contact your local dental society for low cost options.

Doubtful: Unless you had a developmental defect of that tooth... and if so, a prior dentist would have mentioned it. High blood pressure and diabetes don't hurt, but you still need to treat those conditions. Same thing goes with holes in your teeth.

YES: I remove wisdom teeth that are impacted or erupted routinely with just local anesthesia. You may feel a little pressure or hear a little noise if the surgeon needs to make a ditch around the tooth to make room to elevate it but that is all. Talk to your surgeon.
