what is the best medication for spring time allergies

OTC: Assuming you don’t have contraindications, Flonase nasal spray is a good first med  to try.  Can add Zyrtec orally.  Before anything, a netti pot can make you feel *much* better with minimal to no risk.  If those don’t work, see a doc and consider adding singular and/or astelin nasal spray.  For the poor folks who suffer on that regimen or don’t want to take daily meds, allergy shots can help!

can infectious disease doctors help with pelvic infections? i was doing research because i have had an infection and discharge since my iud removal in the spring. my gyno keeps prescribing me the same medication and its not helping?

: It is expected that all physicians should be able to treat pelvic infections because we are all trained to, and to seek help in consultations when we are not able to. If you need a second opinion you could ask your gynecologist to refer you to an infectious disease physician because there are situations of resistant bacteria that may need different approach to cure. The ID Md may have more insight

after my 2nd child im suffering from spring allergy every year. my eyes get so bad and itchy i cant leave my house. starts in early april.no medication helps at all. how early should i start talking allergy pills and eye drops to make it work?

Monitor more and...: If you check your BP 10 times today you will get 10 different readings so get a home monitor and check a few tines a day. Many things can lower BP including a vegetarian diet (or eating more veggies), exercise, meditation, magnesium (400 mg/day), the amino acid taurine 1-2000 mg/2x/day, CoQ10, Hawthorne, and the Ayurvedic herb Indian snakeroot. At your age: and absent other cardiovascular complications (e.g. heart attacks/ disease, congestive heart failure, kidney disease, stroke or aneurysms) your systolic BP remains a bit high but manageable with stress relief methods such as meditation, drinking relaxing teas, light aerobic exercise and deliberate breathing training.  Your diastolic BP is perfect.   Anxiety can cause BP to rise, so stay calm.

: By calling your current prescriber. Continuity of care is critical as adjustments in meds are usually necessary and proper follow up is needed. You have at least a medical condition that needs follow up, simplifying it to a refill will result in suboptimal care.

YEs it can: As the number of medications you take increases so do the chances that they may interact or have additive side effects. It is best to discuss all medications(even eye drops) with your primary physician or pharmacist. Just because they work on different parts of the body does not mean they cannot cause problems with other drugs.

Tylenol (acetaminophen): If tou need something for pain, extra strength tylenol, (acetaminophen) or inuprofed (advil, motrin) or naproxyn (aleve) are safe.

Medication: I have no idea what that medication is or why you are not on it now.  Your best bet is to see your doctor.  If it is a controlled medicine then there are probably good reasons for you not to be on it.  If it is not  I apologise.
