Laparoscopy...: A large ovarian cyst can give you pain and bloating.  How it is treated depends on how bad your pain is and on its appearance on ultrasound.  If you are in a lot of pain, it can be removed surgically, usually using laparoscopy as an out-patient procedure.  Laparoscopy results in very small scars.  These cysts are almost never cancer is a women in her 20s.   Best wishes!

The main risk is not cancer (although there's that too) but rupture or torsion. Possibly: Ovarian   cyst s  depending   on  their   size  may  cause  lower abdominal  pain. They may also  cause  pain  that  radiates to other  areas including the  back. They  may  mimic  the pain of kidney stones. When  an evaluation is  done urinanalysis , pelvic  sonogram  as  well  as  physical   exam  will help to differentiate.

: An ovarian cyst which can grow w/o rupture can cause symptoms such as described.  An appendix swollen by inflammation can also have similar symptoms, so see your gyn provider for an exam and further testing with appropriate referral to a surgeon if the cyst is not determined to cause the pain/discomfort.

Ovarian cyst: Pain from the very insist would normally be filled in front and to one side or the other. However it is possible to have pain in the back from the cyst.            Ovarian cysts again not the usual cause of miscarriages however, you can get a hemorrhagic corpus luteum cyst which lowers the Progesterone level which leads to miscarriage. Not a typical cause of miscarriage… But I have seen situations where Progesterone levels are very low in the presence of such assist. Check Progesterone levels and supplement if needed
