Likely not.: Radiologists are well trained to distinguish kidney from adrenal cysts on imaging films.Most cysts are benign however if they are many with walls or septa inside, they may cause back pain, get infected, elevate bp. i had a at scan in 2016 for a,cyst on my kidney.all okay i was told today i saw a nephrologist for an unrelated issue.he saw the 2016 test and said i may have adrenal hyperplasia cause the 2916 said my adrenals,were both enlarged .is that cancer?

: Hyperplasia means overgrowth or enlargement.   Your adrenals  elaborate different types of hormones and are responsive to signals in the endocrine system. If both adrenals are truly enlarged they may be responding to a signal from the hypothalmamus or pituitary. If they are producing hormones you would be expected to have side effects from those hormones. Followup with your doctor.

adrenal tumors most of the time are symptomless and non cancerous.Rarely there is adrenal cortex carcinoma and need treatment, it is quite rare.Can cause pain, treatment may include surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation.

Probably not: Is the cyst in your kidney or adrenal gland? Either way cysts shouldn't affect the functioning of either organ, unless they are very big or in very large numbers -- neither of which sounds like the case here.

Ask your doctor: Clearly you have a source of medical care.  The person who ordered the test has an obligation to examine, interpret the test for you and suggest possible causes. If you are not taking DHEA, this elevation alone definitely needs followup.  Please don't rely on Dr. Google.  Good luck!

Likely no, but..: What you report are largely seen incidental findings but a few loose ends here should be addressed to make sure there is nothing more insidious ie.. how complex exactly is that left renal cyst?  also, an adrenal adenoma cannot be definitely diagnosis on a contrast enhanced scan unless a very specific protocol was followed. Yes, it will shiow u: A ct scan of the abdomen would show the adrenal glands and any tumors in them, very well.

Renal cyst : What wa stage cyst size, was in mm or cms. Either way a small cyst. Most of these don't cause issue.
