Yes, both required: Employee health may have specific requirements for you to return to work from a public health perspective ( such as repeating test, specific quarantine duration, etc), while your docs will assess your overall physical fitness to return to work as well as other medical needs related or unrelated to COVID infection.

how do you know when to listen to a doctor and when to explore alternative options and/or natural treatments? i've read about kris carr and seen her movie.  i also had a friend of our family battle cancer for a few years.  she was recently told she had 1

There : There are many anectdotal success stories for many treatments for different cancers, and they do indeed give us hope for future treatments.

Medical doctors offer allopathic solutions (ie. "western medicine) solutions to problems based on our best available science and experiments done in large scale.  Conventional medicine is based on evidence-based medicine, and advice from mds should be considered in that framework.

Even if i strongly believe in a treatment strategy that is considered alternative and not based in evidence, i can not, in good faith, with the weight of my degree (and the responsibility that it carries) recommend it.

Licensed mds do not ignore alternative treatments, and are hopefully open to them as adjuncts to conventional medical care, but we can not recommend it as a health care professional.  To do so would be misleading you to believe there was evidence supporting such.

You, as a consumer of health care resources, are free to choose your own therapeutic options for whatever ails you, with conventional medicine being just one option in a list of the multiple types availabe to people today.

The days of "doctor knows best" are gone, so the responsibility falls on you to be informed and educated to make sure you are not choosing an option that could be detrimental to your health when better options exist.

what does hypertensive signal within the acl mean? what happens to the knee when you have a piece of carr floating around within the knee joint?

Difficult to say: with limited info and without looking at the images, but it may mean that there is an ACL sprain/partial tear.  Cartilage "floating" in the knee is termed a loose body and can cause a variety of symptoms including pain, locking, clicking, and degenerative arthritis.

Try his book for it: If you both were pleased with his help on smoking, continue with his ideas on alcohol. Why switch from a winning strategy? The size of the glass matters of course and the issue of compulsion does too. So does her size, activity level, consumption w/ food, etc. But read his book - it's available to buy online. Best

Concerta: Is he diagnosed with ADHD?   Since ADHD is very over-diagnosed I would wonder how much care was put into insuring the diagnosis was correct. Was he started on a dose of 36 mg or was he started on a lower dose and titrated upwards?  Concerta is a stimulant but it usually slows down people with ADHD and accelerates most other people.

Aged Care is Broad: Aged care is broad in scope and very open to many definitions. In essence, it is is an approach to the patient that is transitioning from independance to dependance on others based upon infirmities and extraneous (environmental/social) conditions. The age in years is arbitrary becasue many disease processes (such as als) accelerate the "aging" process of the individual.

See Dr.: Goiters need to be evaluated by an endocrinologist to be properly evluated and the proper treatment follows after the proper diagnosis on the exact nature and type of the goiter.
