Absolutely: The area was minimally traumatized by the procedure... it is expected to be a little sore for possibly a day. A NSAID OTC med should get you through it.

at times esp lately i've been getting a sudden squeezing/tight sensation like a vice grip cramp on my right jaw. sometimes it feels like it wants to shift/move. after i feel sore. hx of tmj. need a new crown in that area. fillings as well. tmj still?

: Appears you need a dental splint made by a prosthodontist. No hard foods/candies, gun chewing, jowling. Apply warm moist compresses, take Ibuprofen.

had root canal on bottom left last tooth today. dentist took a x-ray after & said it looked great. put temp filling in. im experiencing pain & soreness in my mouth, and especially in my jaw in one spot. normal? i had multiple injections to get numb.

Not unusual: After those injections and all that work on your mouth and tooth and after the local anesthetic wore off, I don't think your symptoms are concerning at this time. If symptoms worsen or discomfort persists, notify the endodontist.

Jaw pain and filling: Some patients are predisposed to jaw pain after dental appointments. This discomfort is likely from holding the mouth open for a prolonged period of time. The pain may come from the jaw joint (TMJ) or from the jaw muscles you may  ask your dentist to periodically allow you to rest your jaw by closing during the course of the dental treatment.

Different Problems: Sensitivity, headache, and possibly the earache can be caused by deep restorations that have inflamed the nerves in your teeth. Your other problems are most likely unrelated. Have your dentist check your sensitive teeth and see your physician for your other problems.

Non-vital tooth?: Could be a number of things: body's reaction to a non-vital , necrotic pulp ("dead nerve"), a reaction to the injection of local anesthetic,  a disrupted occlusal relationship from the new filling or something entirely unrelated (abscess? Infected impacted tooth?). See your dentist any time an abnormal symptom lasts more than 3 days; asap if there is swelling.

TMJ: It means your TMJ disc is out of position. May or may not be a significant problem. Ask your dentist to refer you to a TMJ expert for an opinion.

Varies: I would contact your dentist if it is still sore after a few days.  The bite on it may need to be adjusted.  It is wise to keep in contact with your dentist so the best course of action can be taken.

Depends: Possibly your bite may not be level in which case you will need a slight bite adjustment.  Other possibility might be fillings that are deep and very close to the nerve.  See your dentist to evaluate your problem and determine the appropriate treatment.
