This is a benign condition with increased bilirubin levels during periods of illness or stress. However, if there is a concern of liver disease or jaundice, you can see your physician for an exam, history, and blood tests.

Yellow eyes: Bilirubin is one of the breakdown products of hemoglobin, the molecule that carries oxygen in our blood.  Bilirubin is yellow.  When someone has jaundice, bilirubin is elevated, and the whites of the eyes turn yellow.

But if you see it there, it will not be long before the rest of the body changes.  Liver evaluation needed.
