You can see pregnancy rates, numbers of cycles, the number of ivf programs, etc.  The federal government monitors the reporting so that patients have a good idea of how well their program is performing.  We are luck here to have so many excellent ivf programs in this country.  The statistics can be found at sart.Org and cdc.Gov.

Delayed implantation: Occasionally there is delayed implantation and the HCG levels do not turn positive when expected.  However, if delayed implantation did occur, it should only delay the raise of HCG levels by a few days.  If there is any doubt that you could be pregnant after a negative test, continue your Progesterone and repeat the test in 2-3 days.  Good luck.  Hope this helps.
