If you have: No other signs and symptoms , apply some lotion, moisturizers , topical steroids, aquaphor ointments , take oral histamines for itching  and avoid washing with hot or warm water.

i have a large wart on my head. it seems to be growing and is very itchy. i also have skin tags on various parts of my body which are also itchy. can i have this removed and will it be covered under my plan?

Depends: You should talk to your doctor to ascertain if the lesion needs to be removed for could be treated medically. I am not able to comment on your health plan.

Yes: Contact with cat or dog dander can cause redness and itching or even hives.

Not uncommon: Itchiness without rash is fairly common, and when it responds well to a single daily dose of antihistamine, such as otc Cetirizine 10mg, there isn't anything so far out of whack that we would be able to find anything wrong. If taking Cetirizine daily doesn't work, or if you develop a rash that accompanies the itching, see an allergist. Some people need to take Cetirizine for a long time; that's ok.

is an itchy scalp a sign of mpb? i'm not balding but i get the occasional itches in various places on head, is this anything to worry about?

No: Itch is not related to MPB. It could be related to dandruff / seborrheic dermatitis, or simply dry skin.

my daughter has an itchy blistering rash that comes and goes on various parts of her torso. a piece of her skin has now blanched due to this. help?

Needs work up: This could represent many clinical entities, some more serious than others.  Start with her pediatrician to figure this out.  She may need dermatology and/or immunology consultations.

i have acid reflux and i have been having intermittent itchy skin. can these two be related? i tried various skin lotions but it didn't help. my liver blood test have come normal. is the itchy skin an internal issue or because of dry skin?

Stress related: You may stress  that cause your reflux and cause your skin to be itch  intermittently. You may want to look into  this mental aspect.

See your doctor: You may have allergies, eczema, or any form of atopic dermatits.  See your doctor for a diagnosis and get treated.  You may want to isolate what is causing it as well.

Psoriasis: especially if the flaky patches are red underneath and favor the joint surfaces.

Allergic reaction: If it's not painful it's likely to be an allergic reaction. Especially if it's spreading. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is a good start but if it keeps going seek medical attention soon.
