Throat Infection?: Your symptoms are not usually caused by an abcessed tooth. 
You should see a dentist to treat the tooth. You should see your physician for your other symptoms.

Your symptoms: It sounds like you have two things going on- in addition to the tooth infection you may have a viral infection/common cold. See your dentist as scheduled and consider seeing your primary care physician if you have fever, or your symptoms get worse or don't resolve in a few days.

Dates are sticky: Very high in sugar and are very bad for you dentally.  Please consult with a dentist soon, stop eating the dates, refrain from acidic foods and liquids in the interim.  Hope this helps.

Post operative pain: its not uncommon to have complications following an extraction. The most common one is called alveolitis or dry socket where the site of the extraction does not heal well. It's normal to have some pain or discomfort 1-2 days after the extraction but 3-5 days after if pain persists possible dry socket or a bone spicule or tooth remnant . Return to dentist that performed the extraction for exam.

See your dentist: You may have a cavity or abrasion or exposed root surface, which can cause sensitivity.   You have used proenamel long enough (3years) for it o be effective if that were the remedy, but it is not.

You may require a filling (bonding) if you have a cavity or abrasion or a professional desensitizing treatment.
