i'm breastfeeding my baby & my armpits are very itchy. 1st what causes this & 2nd what can i use that won't harm my baby while breastfeeding. thanks?

Irritation?: Itchy armpits are usually due to an irritation. Try using deodorant stick that does not say anti-perspirant. This helps if you have a blocked sweat duct. Compresses of water/white vinegar may help remove small yeast infection. Make sure if you shave to use a good quality gel and quality razor - not just soap and water - to avoid ingrown hairs. A light powdering of corn starch can help with wetness

See below.: Most likely it is hydadenitis suprativa or recurrent sebaceous gland hyperplasia.  Check with a dermatologist to ensure it is not a metastatic lymph node. Treatment for hs or rsgh include biopsy for confirmatory diagnosis.

i am on ranitidine at the moment & i've got very itchy armpits (develops at night), itchy & slightly painful breasts. is this due to ranitidine?

You may have allergy: If the symptoms began after taking the medication there is a strong possibility  you might be allergic. I would stop the pills and see your family doctor.

very itchy armpits. feeling very tired lately also but could be due to quarantine affecting sleep pattern. armpits very itchy especially in the stretch marks surrounding armpits. noticed when used deodorant but used a different one and still itchy?

Armpit Itch: Itchy armpits are usually due to poor hygiene, dermatitis, or an allergic reaction. Check to see if your soaps have changed or your routines of the frequency of showers. Deodorants can cause the itch as well (ie allergic reaction). Try taking a shower and no deodorant for a day or two and see if this resolves.

Itchy Arm pits: you don't have to live with this condition .
Make an appointment to see a skin specialist ( Dermatologist } . A scraping or a skin biopsy maybe in order . .Change you deodorant . Use backing soda or even unscented baby powder &amp; see what happens . you maybe allergic to it .Worth a try

Iv'e never heard of : That one.  Early pregnancy sxs can include: lack of period, breast swelling ; tenderness with darkened areolas, fatigue, increased urination frequency, constipation, bloating, heartburn, backache, cramping, headache, food cravings or aversions, increased sense of smell, enlarged waist, feeling faint/dizzy, mood swings, increased gas, insomnia, gagging more easily ; yawning.

i have a rash on my breast. itchy armpits. clear liquid that comes from my nipple when i squeeze it. my skin looks wrinkly i went to the dr they did mammogram and ultrasound didn't see anything. should i get a second opinion?

Possible hives: Itchy welts can be hives but you should see a doctor for a proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Hormone or reaction: it could be a simple allergic reaction to the bro, T shirt or whatever touching your breast
use Hydrocortisone cream from over the counter and take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) to see if it will go away both safe for breast feeding
it could be the hormonal changes women go through after pregnancy or while breast feeding
other wise you need to see a doctor to make the proper diagnosis and give you the proper treatment

Raynauds: of the breast can cause this and or breast pain.
