The symptoms may be felt immediately after contact with water and can persist for an hour or longer. In some families, a tendency toward aquagenic pruritus appears to be hereditary.

Dry skin: The chemicals in pool can strip your skin of its protective oils.  Apply baby oil before and after swimming.

Cold Urticaria: Cold induced urticaria occurs whenever the skin is chilled, by cold air or cold water, or by direct contact with cold items like ice or a cold drink can.  It is not a sign of immunocompromise.

last month i started to get few bumps on my leg - after swimming in pool. i am pretty sure it is molescum contagisum. maybe 4. not painful. 1 is getting itchy a lot and is looking more red now. what do i do? leave it alone?

: I do not know why you are so sure those lesions are due to molluscum contagiosum but I doubt. You can use cold compress or lidocaine ointment (OTC) for itching and localized redness. If the redness extends with pain, you should see your doctor for possible need of antibiotic.

It may clear on its own or you may need to see a clinic to get some antibiotic in cream or oral form.  Have your aunt thoroughly clean and disinfect the pool.  Good luck!

Spots: Were the spots limited to your abdominal area? If so unlikely an allergic reaction.  Did you apply a sun screen ? If they persist, you may want to have them checked.

Factors that can cause eczema include other diseases, irritating substances, allergies and your genetic makeup. Eczema is not contagious.

Chlorine!: The chlorine that is put in a public swimming pool to kill harmful organisms has also been known to cause skin irritation.  When you come out of the pool, be sure that you shower well!

: Use saline nasal drops for a few days. If still the same feeling pl see an ENT doc. I dont think you have anything filled with pus.
