Skin Irritation: Chlorinated pools can be very drying to the skin and can cause acute worsening of eczema. With eczema it is always important to shower or bathe right after swimming in a chlorinated pool or using a hot tub. Use a gentle cleanser to remove chemicals, then apply moisturizer right afterward.
