Have checked: The small lump could be many things.  Your thyroid gland is in that general area.  Nodules (lumps) in the thyroid should be evaluated by a Physician.  The best way to know what the lump is includes a physical examination

when pinch throat almost at the bottom end, below adams apple, feels like i'm irritating an itch and i cough. can't feel itchiness otherwise. normal?

Not very clear: Not sure if I understand your question but in my opinion, just stop pinching the area. Why look for trouble?
See your PCP if you have any concern with your throat.

Need to be seen: By your doctor, you may very well  Rx meds for your upper airways inflammation causing such symptoms, as well you may be having reflux adding to the problem in your throat, and possibly causing your upset stomach. In the interim, use saline nasal washes, salt water gargles, and OTC antacid or PPI, but read the labels carefully, wish you well

Hard to say: You should see a doctor, but sounds like a possible thyroid issue. Less likely something involving the cartilage in that area. Get this checked out.

Some ideas: A thyroglossal duct cyst? Your hyoid bone? Any of a number of other possibilities. Show your physician on your next physical, or get it seen now if it's growing rapidly.

Yes, most likely: In my almost 30 years of pediatric practice, one of the things that has become evident to me is that there are "50 shades of normal" for almost everything! the key to your question is the revelation that your "adams apple" has been there for years. There would be more concern if this prominence in your neck had just recently appeared or if it were red or painful. It is always good to ask your md.

: The thyroid cartilage that surrounds your Adam's apple contains two cartilage plates. These two plates join at the front of your throat, forming a V-shaped notch.  It is normal for men's to protrude more than women, and it is normal for this area to enlarge with puberty.

Neck masses: in children should always be evaluated by a pediatrician.  Midline masses may represent congenital malformations, often treated with surgical removal.  Best wishes

Anatomy: 
Your Adams apple is the palpable part of your thyroid cartilage.  This is connected to you hyoid bone and the muscles of your lower pharynx.  When you move your neck the muscles change the location of your structures and this makes the Adams apple more prominent.

Doubt it: This is the thyroid cartilage.  You unfortunately have a normal structure which is prominent.  I doubt that any surgeon would modify its size.  Remember the vocal folds are located within this cartilage and any manipulation of this cartilage might damage your voice.
