See your doctor: There are many different types of itching. See your doctor to have this problem evaluated. A dermatologist would be great.

the bumps are small and red. it looks like an open wound at the top. almost like its been scratched. they come and go. and are not always in the same place. the there is no pain. just intense itching to the point i cant sleep at night?

Not knowing all the: details except what you just presented- sounds like you are under Stress and something is making you anxious to cause all those symptoms. Best to get evaluated for other causes.

Skin problems.:  Have you used a quality moisturizer if skin is dry? Colloidal oatmeal baths? These lesions would need to be assessed to determine the cause and an appropriate plan of care.

my shoulder constantly itches what could it be? i'm loosing sleeping because of it

Many possibilities: Shoulder itching can arise from a wide variety of reasons.  In addition to a skin condition localized to the shoulder, it could also be a neurologic issue.  Furthermore, it could also be a mild referred pain related to abdominal problems (like the gallbladder), pelvic issues (like a ruptured cyst), or lung disease (like a pneumonia).  As you can see, there are many possibilities.

Itching: Check with your internist to see if you have a normal bood count and chemistries. Then, if everything is normal consult a dermatologist for help with your itchimg.

Dry skin: eczema, other type of rash...have a medical professional take a look as there is no way to tell just from your cymptom of itching.

Forget it: Levothyroxine only helps if you have a deficient thyroid level, and you need to take the proper dose and take it daily.  It takes 6 weeks to get into your system, so taking a pill occasionally is like spitting in the ocean.  It can't help and may may thing worse, particularly if you don't need it.

Scalp itch: wet dries out and may be overdrying so skin gets dehydrated and itches

Unlikley: You can try some mineral oil in the ear before you sleep (assuming there is no hole in the ear drum). There is also a nice prescription medication for itchy ears called dermotic oil.. Your primary care could prescribe or your local ent.
