In general: Would caution against eating any old spider that you happen to come upon.  In cambodia a species of tarantula called "a-ping" which is very large, is fried and eaten as a delicacy. However, some spiders are venomous & eating them could be detrimental to your health.  Would not put anything in your mouth if you don't know what it is or how safe it is for consumption.

Bodies aren't: designed to be bashed hard. I think that taking away transportation such as cars or trains would have many serious, negative impacts on life.

Safe for what?: It's a pathogenic bacteria that's best avoided.

Toast = ok: I’m not sure the answer to your first question, but no - 3 pieces of slightly burnt toast a day is very unlikely to hurt you.  Other than the carb load that is!  Make sure your diet is well balanced and enjoy that toast!

Washed fresh veggies: can infect but the probability for that is low.  Use a scrub brush to lower it even more.  Best of all is to buy organic vegetables.  They are more expensive but no chemicals are used in their growth,  Peace and good health.

Yes : Yes it does come from pigs - and it has been discontinued by the manufacturer.  There are many other good fillers available.

Yes, but do not use: It is the other way around.  The tobramycin eye drop is fda approved for humans, and is being used for by your vet for your cat.  However, just as you should not share antibiotics between family members, you should not use the tobramycin unless it is prescribed to you by your eye md.

Probably not: When not talking about real, purified, studied, approved medications, the answer is usually, "Nobody knows for sure." That is due to the lack of good research studies and the lack of uniformity in the product, which means one bag of product is different from another bag of product, which is usually different from the bag of product that got studied, if any were studied. Buyer beware; user beware.

Ortho Home defense: From the Ortho site   - it contains 2 ingredients Bifenthrin and Zeta Cypermethrin. both have low toxicity towards mammals (humans).  skin contact is not toxic  but ingestion is.     So   -  best recommendation -  spray when the air is still -  keep everyone out of the treated area until it dries.
