are fresh vegetables washed just before eating still able to infect humans if they were contaminated before washing? how do you know if they are safe?

Washed fresh veggies: can infect but the probability for that is low. Use a scrub brush to lower it even more. Best of all is to buy organic vegetables. They are more expensive but no chemicals are used in their growth, Peace and good health.
