my toddler is one year old & he has a tongue tie. how do i know of it will affect his speech or not?

Ankyloglossia: It will depend on the severity of the condition. It is uncertain as to who will develop speech problems and there is no way to predict at young age who will need treatment. It is possible for children with ankyloglossia to have normal speech. Surgical intervention is an option with proven improvement of speech.

how long do germs live on plastic bottles and/or caps. i am mostly concerned with herpes, meningitis, other gross or dangerous germs. my toddler put a random water bottle from the ground in her mouth and i am so upset. should i be as worried as i am?

: Finger to mouth activity is common to all toddlers, including putting bugs, foreign objects, screws, bottle caps and everything else they can fine in their environment. A Children's Hospital infectious disease specialist estimates they have about 100 different germ challenges/day. They all seem to grow up/survive/rarely do they get these bad diseases. Fear if you must, but you can't control this

i have hpv and my toddler got ahold of my menstrual cup that is used during periods internally. i had washed it with soap and water but i'm concerned because he put it in his mouth. i'm concerned he could have contract oral hpv?

: No risk at all. Household contacts of persons with genital HPV never catch it, even after years of sharing toilets, kitchens, towels, eating utensils, or even sleeping in the same bed (assuming no sex). Children never catch it from their infected parents. This is your second such question. Please believe it:  No Risk!

do i need to be concerned if my toddler has hand, foot & mouth disease & i am 21 weeks pregnant?

Not specifically: Most women will have had the viral infection that produces HFM in childhood and be immune for their lifetime. I do see the germ pass to adults occasionally. At 21 weeks you baby has formed all its basic structure, so the most vulnerable period has passed.I know of no reported HFM effects to the fetus if a mother becomes infected.You should know in a week or so if you get it.If so let your OB know.

See Pediatrician: There is no way to diagnose 'white spots' on tongue over the internet. Please take your toddler to the pediatrician for a personal exam. It may be normal or it may require treatment (if it's candidiasis/thrush or something else).

Breathing obstructio: Breathing may be difficult due to swelling in throat.  I suggest a visit to a doctor asap.

Strawberry tongue: A strawberry tongue can be seen in strep throat and Kawasaki disease.  Kawasaki disease is rare and also has fever, cracked lips, red eyes, peeling skin of hands and feet as accompanying symptoms. Strawberry tongue without other symptoms is within normal limits.

Depends on the cause: If the child haste any sharp or brocken/decayed teeth , can cause tongue blisters , 
but if there is no apparent intra oral cause for the blistering, then the cause might be from git .
Have him or her checked by  a pediatric doctor to determine any gastric infections or malfunctions
