Lysteda: You can do that through a number of different birth control methods to manipulate the hormones but there is not a natural way to do it. Would be nice if there was. Lysteda is a non hormonal medication that dramatically shortens the cycle and limits bleeding. Ask your doctor if you are a candidate.

OCP maybe?: Birth control pills, whether for contraception or not, will shorten and lessen the bleeding.  At age 45 it would be good to get evaluated by a good gynecologist before trying to alter your periods.

There's not much...: There's not much demand for penis-shortening among the male population. That likely means it's not a bad thing. With really good communication between the man and woman before, during, and after the wedding, all should be just fine.

Do not recommend: I don't recommend doing any plastic surgery on your feet as you might end up with having pain where you had none before.

Depends: The cycle can be altered to a great extent with oral contraceptive pills.  It is quite possible to delay the cycle for days, weeks, and even months. Without surgical means it is not possible to cause the menses to come sooner than would normally happen after ovulation.

Options: There are several pills you could try that shorten the cycles - Minastrin and Lolo Estrin are two popular ones. Progesterone IUDs and Depoprovera can be used to stop the cycle. An Obgyn can help you find something that works for you.

It would work: If you wore on a different pill, or possibly if you gave that pill a 3 month trial. Talk to your doctor about continuous cycling.
