is there any way to shorten your period or is there any possibility to make it come sooner or later than your normal menstrual cycle?

Depends: The cycle can be altered to a great extent with oral contraceptive pills. It is quite possible to delay the cycle for days, weeks, and even months. Without surgical means it is not possible to cause the menses to come sooner than would normally happen after ovulation.
