NO: These are one and the same.  It is reserved for the yearly visit to check wellness or lack of it and not for your laundry list of things.  You shold have individual appointments for illness and medical problems.  The yearly wellness or physical is to promote wellness and good health and preventative issues.  It is worth the while and proper and necessary.  Keep the vist to wellness issues.

Once a year: You should check every month and alert your doc to any changes. Your doc will check once a year.

Possible obstruction: Slow an interrupted stream and spraying are signs of obstruction. At age 32 it would not be prostate obstruction but you need to have cystourethroscopy(look in your urine channel with a light). Best to see a urologist. Good luck.

Comments: Why do you fear an aneurysm?  Did a family relative suffer from one?  A physical exam by your doctor is totally inadequate to prove or disprove presence of aneurysm, but an MRI could do a far better job.

Hard to say!: You do not say how old your son is.  Do get him checked.  You might be interested to know that South American children on cattle ranches where the feed had added hormones were found to have precocious puberty (both boys and girls).  Good reason to avoid hormones and antibiotics in meat, dairy, eggs!  Have your child checked by his doctor to see if his symptoms are concerning or normal.

i seems that every time i have a physical exam, my testicles pull up tight in my scrotum so the doctor cannot really examine them well. they usually hang down low at other times. does anxiety cause the scrotum to contract and pull the testicles up?

: Anxiety and cold room could be contributing to this. There is not much to examine in the testes in a man of your age. Next time you see your doctor mention your concern to her/him.

Depends: Depends on your individual health goals.  But in general, for preventive screening, every two years is probably sufficient if you have no medical conditions.  This is primarily driven by the USPSTF recommendation that you have a mammogram every 2 years between the ages of 50 and 75.  Other things to have checked would be blood pressure, cervical cancer screening (every 3-5 years) and Colon cancer.

Head-to-toe: First: vital signs. Heart rate, blood pressure, weight, height. We will also check their vision. Then a head to toe exam just like in previous exams. ENT, heart, lungs and abdomen. We look for signs for the onset of puberty including pubic hair, and testicular size. We talk to the child about maturation, general safety, activity specific safety, avoiding high risk behaviors, school and friends.
